FAQ
CutShot is invite-only while we're in beta. Leave your email and where you play, and we approve a batch of players every week — you'll get an email with your invite link.
Yes. Every player in the beta gets their full recap, stats, highlight reel, and player card — free, no card. Paid features may come later, but the core stays free.
One video of your match, filmed from behind the baseline (the back of the court) with the whole court in frame. A phone on a tripod is ideal — just keep it steady.
Read the filming guide →Very good — and honest about it. The numbers are accurate, and on the rare call we're not sure of, we show the sample size or hold it back rather than guess.
Yes — serve speed is measured from your video and shown as an estimate (like ~52 km/h). When a serve can't be measured confidently, we hold the number back rather than guess.
Kills, digs, reception, assists, serve speed, shot and court maps, and an overall OVR rating — for every player on the court. When the sample is too small to be meaningful, we show the sample size or hold the stat back.
Any steady, landscape video works — phone, GoPro, or camera. Film from behind the baseline with the whole court in frame; a tripod is ideal.

No. Upload once, tag the other three, and they can claim their own card and stats — nothing to upload on their end.
Once you're in, about 10–30 minutes, depending on how long your match is. Upload it and come back to a finished recap.
Get better
You owned cross-court — but deep serves kept finding your pass.
Over time
I use the stats. The shot maps I mostly don't, if I'm honest. But the reel goes in the group chat every Thursday night and that on its own is worth it.
I'm not trying to get coached at this point, I just want to know if I'm getting worse. Six matches in and my passing's holding up, my jump isn't what it was. Rather know than not.
